Deputies seek woman in credit card theft
Deputies say they need the public's help in finding a woman accused of using a stolen credit card.
According to authorities, it happened on Nov. 19 at a Winn-Dixie grocery store in the area of County Road 210 West.
Deputies said the woman, seen in surveillance video, used a credit card that was stolen as the victim shopped at the store.
Another stolen credit card was used at a Hess convenience store also located on County Road 210 West, deputies said.
Authorities described the thief as a white woman possibly in her early 20s, 5 feet 6 inches tall and with long black hair. Police said the woman was seen wearing a blue hoodie with the words “Love Pink” on the hood and “Drafted by the Detroit Lions” on the back.
Anyone with information about her identity is asked to call Detective Mike Smith at the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office at 904-209-2142 or Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida at 888-277-TIPS.
