Nassau County Detectives Say 2 Men Also Tried To Steal ATM
Published On: Oct 31 2011 05:47:42 PM EDT Updated On: Nov 16 2009 05:16:24 AM ESTNassau County Sheriff's detectives said they are looking for at least two men who stole cash, a safe and tried to steal an ATM machine from a BP gas station in Yulee.
Detectives said the burglary happened on State Road 200 near Interstate 95 on Sept. 17 between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m.
They said the men cut a hole in the back of the gas station, which is located inside of the Florida Welcome Center.
Detectives said the men busted holes through several walls in the building and tried to steal the ATM, pushing it out of the building and taking an undetermined amount of cash.
Detectives said the stolen safe has not been recovered.
