In 2008, Stanton, who was 20 year at the time, was shot in the face while trying to flee from law enforcement officials in St. Johns County. U.S. Marshalls were trying to arrest him at a gas station on U-S 1 North. St. Johns County deputies were called in to assist with the arrest, and when they arrived, the Stanton allegedly tried to flee. Officials say they were trying to arrest Stanton on felony drug charges and aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer at the time. Now, in 2014, Stanton is wanted on three counts of attempted murder, one count of fleeing and attempting to elude, and one count of resisting an officer with violence.Anyone with information on Stanton's whereabouts is cautioned to not make contact with him and to immediately notify law enforcement.
