Miami-Dade homicide detectives are investigating a police-involved shooting that happened Wednesday morning.
Investigators say officers were dispatched to the scene where a suspicious man was seen looking into the window of a car. When officers arrived they questioned the subject, who they say gave them false information.
Police say a violent struggle ensued when officers attempted to handcuff the man. They say the subject then entered a police cruiser and tried to use it to flee from police and run the officers over.
One officer fired his gun and killed the subject.
