Driver killed when car hits tree

DUVAL COUNTY, Fla. -

The driver of a SUV was killed Sunday morning when her car overturned and hit a tree.

The crash happened at 4600 Yellow Water Road about 6:55 a.m.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers said the driver was headed south on Yellow Water Road when, for reasons not yet known, the SUV left the road onto a grass shoulder, went into a ditch, through a fence, then flew into the air. The car then landed on its roof and hit a tree.

Troopers said Jetsely Alejandra Pichardo Pacheco, 20, was killed in the crash.
