We are now seeing the hand written notes of the specific questions the jurors asked during the Dunn trial. The notes reveal some of the struggles jurors were having deciding the case. In all of their deliberations they asked 13 questions - In this one- question# 9 - they ask - is it possible to reach a verdict on one count and not reach a verdict on other counts. Along with the note you can see the jury foreman's name has been blacked out - and the seal of the clerk of courts. Another question deals with the state's self defense laws. The jury asks - is self defense separate for each person - meaning all the boys in the SUV - in each count. Then this - are we determining if deadly force is justified against each person in each count.For example deadly force against Person A,B,C,D. You can see the judge scribbled "yes" alongside each question. And the last part of the question - if we determine deadly force is justified against one person is it justified against the others. Her comments - did not seem to sit well with Lucia McBath, or Ron Davis - the parents of shooting victim Jordan Davis. TAKE SOT 02-20-14 JUROR 8 SPEAKS / put in TV Monitor TAKE SOT In a visit by Dunn's son Chris - Dunn maintained he was unfairly in jail, that he logically acted in self-defense the night he shot and killed Jordan Davis.TAKE SOT Most of the calls we listened to - pertained to the day to day misery for Dunn and his fiancee, living apart, and in fear of what would happen with the case. Dunn repeatedly told Rhonda Rouer that he believed he would be out of jail on bond ... And that he wasn't worried about a trial, if it ever happened. Again - the state attorneys office is pushing to retry Dunn on the murder charge - in May. 3 Kent, earlier this week Juror # 4 talked about screaming and arguing in the jury room during deliberations - did juror #8 refer to any of this tonight?Kent - She did - in fact she described the inside of the jury room as - "wild" - with a lot of yelling and shouting. She also said the group started off the final day of deliberations - saturday morning - with a prayer.
