JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

An 87-year-old woman was killed in a house fire in The Woods subdivision on the Southside, according to Jacksonville Fire-Rescue.

The fire broke out around 8:30 p.m. Monday at a house on Wild Olive Court. Crews say they were able to get the fire out in about 25 minutes.

After the fire was out, JFRD tells Channel 4 they found Doris Barie dead in the back of the home.

No other injuries were reported.

A state fire marshal is investigating how the fire started.
