An event this weekend is raising money for a very important cause...the J-T Townsend Foundation. He's the young man who dedicated his life to helping others after suffering a traumatic spinal cord injury in 2004. He ultimately passed away last summer -- but the organization is continuing his work. On Saturday -- the foundation is hosting the Checkpoint Challenge. Participants will test their problem solving skills as they visit designated checkpoints in downtown Jacksonville. Joining me now is Judi Zitiello, Chairperson for the JT Townsend Foundation, and Pauline Gerry from Shananiganz, an interactive event company that's helping out. 3 Again -- the Checkpoint Challenge is this Saturday -- here's what you need to know to participate. It's at the Jacksonville Landing -- check in starts at noon -- and the challenge starts at 1-30. There will be a post party with live music starting at 4. You have until tomorrow to register your team -- just go to the Checkpoint Challenge dot com to sign up.
