3 Good evening. The Food and Drug Administration is linking jerky treats, like the ones here, to hundreds of deaths among dogs. The agency has narrowed it down to duck and chicken jerky, like this... It also believes the treats are coming from China... which is information you can't always find, on the bag's label. Because the FDA hasn't been able to pinpoint an exact brand or manufacturer, it can't issue any recalls. Since 2007, we know at least 36-hundred dogs and 10 cats have gotten sick. Of those cases, 580 dogs have died. Now the FDA is making a last-minute push to get to the bottom of the problem ... Channel 4's Kumasi Aaron has been talking to pet owners and veterinarians about this health alert... She joins us live from a dog park in San Marco.
