JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A family of five was displaced after a fire ravaged their home Monday morning.

Jacksonville Fire-Rescue was called to the mobile home in the 8600 block of Pritchard Road in Northwest Jacksonville just after 8 a.m.

They said a woman and her three children were able to get out of the home safely. Firefighters said the woman's husband and children's father was not there at the time.

The woman and an infant were taken to a hospital as a precaution, firefighters said. They said her husband met them at the hospital to check on them.

The two other two children were in the custody of their grandfather.

Firefighters said the fire started in a bedroom. They are investigating the cause.
