BRUNSWICK, Ga. -

Glynn County authorities have charged a convicted felon with a Brunswick bank robbery that sparked a police chase through two south Georgia counties on Friday.

Glynn County Police said 30-year-old Frank Morris was charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon after the bank robbery.

Police said a man wearing a ski mask and carrying a shotgun took over a United Community Bank branch on North Commercial Drive and then bolted with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police said they arrested Morris after a Georgia Division of Natural Resources spotted the suspect's vehicle heading south on Interstate 95 into Camden County. The vehicle was pursued to a mobile home park in the 4300 block of Horsestamp Church Road.

He has prior burglary convictions dating back to 1997, and records show he was released from a prison boot camp in October 1999 after serving four months of a 7-year prison term.
