A fight at a Jacksonville homes ended with a man being stabbed.
About 2:30 p.m., police responded to a home on News Avenue to reports of a fight. They found out someone had been stabbed.
911 got a call from a home several blocks away in the 7800 block of Hare Avenue. A man had been stabbed more than once in the torso.
Police said he ran from the house on News Avenue to the home on Hare. There's no word on whether he lived at either place.
Police said the man whom they believe stabbed the other man stayed at the scene and cooperated with them. He was taken in for questioning. Officers found the knife at the scene as well.
They said the victim was taken to Shands Medical Center in stable condition.
Names were not released.
