Crews with Jacksonville Fire-Rescue were investigating a house fire on the Northside early Friday morning.

The home is located on Monroe Avenue near Lem Turner Road. 

The fire broke out just after 6 a.m.  The inside is gutted and the blaze is suspicious, according to JFRD.

No one was inside the home when the fire broke out.  A "For Rent" sign was posted outside.
