Fire destroys 94-year-old's house

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A fire destroyed the home of a 94-year-old woman Sunday afternoon.

It happened on Bronson Street between the Mixontown and Lackawanna neighborhoods.  Authorities said the house is a total loss.

Mixontown fire No one was home at the time and there were no injuries.

The Red Cross said the organization is helping the woman and her two grandchildren who lived with her.
