JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A First Guaranty Bank in Riverside was robbed Tuesday morning.

Jacksonville police were called to the bank in the 1200 block of Kings Street about 10:30 a.m.

Police said the robber handed the teller a note demanding money, then fled. Police said the teller did not see a gun.

The robber, who was alone, was still being sought.

Police were checking to see if the robber may be the same man who robbed a Riverside credit union last week.

"I don't know if it's related to the last robbery that we had," Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Lt. Derrick Lewis said. "It had some similarities, but we're not willing to say for sure."
