A search is under way to locate a missing Orange Park native and recent University of Central Florida graduate.
Brailynne Corr, 22, graduated from UCF in the spring. She vanished two weeks ago when she went to visit a friend in Mississippi, according to her family.
"It's the most awful thing that could happen to a family," said Brailynne's father, Dave Corr. "She is a wonderful bubbly girl. I just don't know what I am going to do if I can't find her."
Day after day, Corr said he is combing through the woods, posting flyers of his daughter's picture and talking to anyone who might know something about Brailynne's disappearance.
It has been two weeks since Brailynne left for Mississippi and there is still no sign of the Orange Park native. Brailynne told her parents she was going to Hattiesburg, Miss., and that's where the Ridgeview High School and UCF graduate was last seen on Sept. 17 at a Walmart in nearby Picayune.
"It's turned our lives just completely upside down, it's heart-wrenching," Corr said. "It's very, very emotional. Ten times a day you're just -- sometimes it's even hard to talk."
Corr said detectives are doing everything they can to help the family.
"We just, we don't know what else to do, it's just ripping us apart and if anybody can help in any way, even by printing off posters and putting them around, or by just keeping an eye out for the vehicle, that, that would help," Corr said.
Her debit card was used twice since then at a Walmart about 60 miles from where she was last seen.
Corr's uncle passed out flyers on UCF's campus last week, hoping someone has information that will lead to her whereabouts. Corr's family said she had been driving a silver 1999 sports utility vehicle with a Mississippi license plate RGM837.
