A 4-year-old girl drowned Monday night in a swimming pool at the Lake Buena Vista Resort and Spa near Orlando, according to authorities.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office said other people were at the pool when the child was found unresponsive. CPR was performed on the girl, but she was pronounced dead.
Officials said the girl's death could have been caused by a medical issue because of how quickly everything happened.
Deputies said the child was staying at the resort with her family.
An investigation is ongoing.
