A Florida high school student had his diploma withheld after he Tebowed during commencement ceremonies, Florida Today reports.

According to the report, Chuck Shriner, a senior at Bishop Verot Catholic High School in Fort Myers, Tebowed Saturday during commencement.

But the school's principal, with the consent of the teen's mother, withheld his diploma as punishment.

His mother, a math teacher at the school, picked up the diploma on Monday, but only after Shriner cleaned the gymnasium where the graduation was held.

The teen also made $5 as part of a bet for taking a knee and putting his head down while on stage. He said money wasn't a factor.
