Authorities have revealed a homeless man's ritual that keeps landing him in jail, apparently voluntarily.
Police say Edgard Santiago walks to the same southwest Florida condo building and dials up a random number. When a condo owner answers the phone, Santiago asks them to call the police.
The Tampa Bay Times (p://tinyurl.com/9ecxfkf) reports the 58-year-old has done it about 30 times since 2009. Jail records show he sometimes racks up multiple counts of trespassing in one trip.
Santiago was arrested again Sunday - four days after his last arrest.
Authorities say he does not appear to be drunk or on drugs.
