Firefighters with St. John's County Fire Rescue say crews are battling a brush fire that began Saturday afternoon.
Fire officials say three homes have been evacuated as a result of the brush fire located in the 200 block of Flores Way.
Authorities say there is heavy smoke in the area that is rapidly growing.
It is not known how large the brush fire is at this time.
