A Jacksonville motorcycle officer was involved in a crash on the Northside on Tuesday afternoon, but the injuries were not believed to be serious.

The crash happened on Dunn Avenue at Interstate 295 just after 4 p.m.

The officer was taken to Shands Jacksonville Medical Center.
