JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

The pickup truck stolen from Jaguars running back Richard Murphy on Saturday night was quickly located, but its $15,000 Dubs rims were missing and several items -- including the several football championship rings -- were also gone.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office report, Murphy reported his pickup was stolen from an apartment complex on Gate Parkway sometime after 8 p.m. Saturday.

By the time the report was filed Sunday morning, the vehicle was found abandoned and up on cinder blocks at Brackridge Park on Newton Road.  Police said the driver's side window was smashed.

While a shotgun locked in a secure container inside the pickup was recovered, several other items were not found.  Among the things taken were a 2006 Sugar Bowl Championship ring, a 2008 SEC Championship ring and a 2008 LSU Championship ring.

Police went through the apartment complex looking for witnesses and were attempting to obtain surveillance video of the parking lot where the theft occurred.

Anyone with any information about the theft is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
