You will be responsible for generating stories and setting up interviews. You will also shoot and edit. We need someone who can handle breaking news and turn content quickly. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: We are looking for someone who has experience with P2 cameras and nonlinear editing. Prefer college degree in journalism or communications and two years TV news reporting or photography experience. Must agree to flexible work schedule.

SOCIAL MEDIA PRODUCER: WJXT-TV, a Post-Newsweek Station, is looking for a Social Media producer who will also produce newscasts. We need someone who can build a unique social media experience on Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Flickr and other social media platforms.
In this role, you will develop best practices policies while working with our Social Media Task Force. You will be responsible for evaluating existing social media efforts and training other station employees and departments on social media. You will produce behind-the-scenes projects and fan drive initiatives for social media.
The Social Media producer will also help produce newscasts. You must be able to manage anchors, reporters, photographers and editors. We are looking for a strong writer who is also creative and understands good storytelling. Prior line-producing experience not required but preferred.

TECHNICIAN/OPERATING TECHNICIAN: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, running on-air master control, setting up program and commercial recordings through video servers, checking the technical quality and preparing those recordings for broadcast, as well as, coordinate and tune in multiple satellite and microwave feeds. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of a broadcast environment and a mid-level understanding of a non-linear video workflow.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: The candidate must have excellent learning skills and be able to handle multiple tasks in stressful situations. An in-depth understanding of a PC based computer network is required. Excellent record keeping and attention to details is a must. This position will be required to work various shifts including nights and/or weekends.
