The local breaking news comes from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office - where police tell us they've arrested this teen involved in the so-called 'Knock Out Game'. 3 The Sheriff's office says they believe Kevin Johnson punched a man in the face at a local gas station last month. The man, recovering from a stroke. It happened at the Hess on Merrill Road. Channel 4's Jim Piggott is joining us now from the newsroom with more on Johnson's arrest... 3 3 We just received this mug shot of 16 year old Kevin Johnson.. The sheriff department just arrested and charged him with abuse of a disabled adult.as part of the knock out game Last month police say Johnson was with a group of other young men at the hess station on merrill road in arlington, They say he walked up to the victim, Michael Caraway, and punched him in the face. Caraway is disabled and was using a cane to stand.. We talked with him after the attack..and says he didn't know what was happening.. just that things went dark and he fell to his knees.He also feels the teen should be tried as an adult. 3 3 3:24:46"i don't thikn they should be treated as juveniles at 15 years old they know what they were doing, they intentionally did this, no, they should be tried as an adult." Investigators were able to find Johnson by viewing surveillance video from nearby stores ..They got a search warrant for Johnson's phone and saw it contained numerous video of others walking up to unsuspecting people and punching them..which is labeled as the Knock out game No word if any other arrest are pending.
