JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A 24-year-old man was arrested by U.S. marshals in Puerto Rico in connection with the February 2009 killing of another man at Club Aqua in Jacksonville.

Omar Santiago is charged with murder in the death of 26-year-old Juan Justo at the club in the 11000 block of Beach Boulevard.

Police said marshals tracked Santiago down three months ago.

According to an arrest report, Justo's girlfriend identified Santiago as the shooter.

The two men had been talking inside the club at about 1 a.m. when Santiago pulled out a handgun and shot Justo multiple times, police said.

Investigators said Santiago shot Justo because of an ongoing family dispute.

Police named Santiago as a suspect soon after the killing and had been looking for him ever since.
