Deputies Say 2 Robbed Business On State Road 16 Monday Night

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -

The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said it's looking for two people in connection with a robbery of a State Road 16 business Monday night.

Deputies were called to Adam & Eve in the 2500 block of State Road 16 at about 7:30 p.m.

According to deputies, the two female clerks at the business said that a man and woman walked into the store and approached them.

The man instructed the two clerks to step away from the counter and told the woman he was with to empty the cash register, deputies said.

RAW Surveillance:

The two took an undetermined amount of cash from the register and fled out the door toward Interstate 95, deputies said.

Two additional witnesses who were at a nearby motel told deputies they saw the two robbers run out of the store and get into a medium blue, newer model Chevrolet Impala that was in a Ramada Inn parking lot. The pair then fled toward I-95.

The white male robber was described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 200 pounds, wearing a white hoodie jacket with low-riding blue jeans.

The white female robber was described as about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 140 pounds, wearing a gray hoodie with dark colored jeans.

Both suspects were wearing blue latex gloves and white masks.
