Man arrested for stealing lottery tickets

ATHENS, Ga -

A man was arrested for stealing a lottery tickets in Athens, Georgia.
Reid Handler, 21, was caught trying to cash in lotto tickets that he had stolen from the gas station where he worked, according to Georgia police.
The manager of the Athens-Clarke County Kangaroo store said he found that three books of scratch-off tickets missing.
The manager decided to contact the Georgia Lottery Commission so they could deactivate the tickets.
Handler asked the manager to reactivate the tickets and the manager called the police.
It is still unclear how many tickets he turned in before he was caught.
