Investigators with the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office, along with agents with the U.S. Marshal's Service, found and arrested a 28-year-old St. Augustine man Monday evening after he eluded deputies over the weekend.
Henry Reese Jr. had two outstanding warrants when detectives tried to arrest him Friday, according to the Sheriff's Office. Reese fled in a vehicle and was involved in a hit-and-run crash, deputies said. He then fled on foot.
Detectives continued to search for Reese through the weekend and received information that led to his whereabouts.
Reese's charges include two counts of sale of cocaine and one count of sale of marijuana. He faces additional charges stemming from the hit-and-run crash.
Reese remains in the St. Johns County Jail with bail set at $110,000.
