JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A man who sexually abused a 5-year-old girl has been convicted.

It took a jury two hours to find 23-year-old Ronald Turner guilty on charges of sexual battery, lewd or lascivious molestation, lewd or lascivious exhibition, and showing obscene materials to minors.

Prosecutors said that between February and May 2009, Turner sexually abused the girl by inappropriately touching her, forcing her to touch him, and forcing her to watch porn with him.

The girl testified against Turner at trial.

"This defendant was granted the white cloak of presumed innocence for three years," said Assistant State Attorney Jessica Villella. "This trial -- with this young victim's testimony -- removed that cloak of innocence, revealed his guilt, and granted her closure."

Turner faces mandatory life in prison. He will be sentenced the week of Sept. 17.
