A 29-year-old Jacksonville man was sentenced Friday to 30 years in prison for his involvement in a 2008 killing.
Harvey Badger pleaded guilty in October to a charge of accessory after the fact to second-degree murder.
Badger was present during the Christmas Day shooting death of Wayne Brown. After the shooting, Badger drove the victim's car away from the crime scene.
The shooter has never been charged with the murder due to Badger's actions, prosecutors said.
Badger is a habitual felony offender with multiple drug convictions.
