A Jacksonville man facing several charges stemming from an incident at his neighbor's house last year went before a judge Tuesday as his lawyer tried to get the charges dismissed.

James Lowery is charged with disorderly intoxication, trespassing, voyeurism and resisting arrest.

He has been free on bond since his arrest in October.

The judge denied the motion to dismiss charges and set a final pretrial date in April.

A police report at the time of the arrest said a 15-year-old girl told her father a man was looking in the window of their home. The report says when the father went outside, he found a man kneeling against the home and looking in the window.

Lowery is the chief engineer at WJXT.
