A man was found shot to death early Saturday on Jacksonville's Westside, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Police responded to W. 28th and Fairfax St. after they received a 911 call about a shooting around 12:30 a.m.
Sgt. TK Waters with JSO said the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Waters said the man appeared to be in his early 20s.
Police released few details and homicide detectives were still at the scene Saturday morning.
Police did not release information about potential suspects.
