A man was taken to the hospital Thursday night with a gunshot wound, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Police responded to shots fired in the 5700 block of Tall Pine Lane in Arlington around 9:40 p.m.
"We got on scene and found an adult male who had a gunshot wound," JSO Sgt. Robert John said. "He was taken to the hospital. His injuries aren't life-threatening at this time."
John told Channel 4 at the scene that detectives are still interviewing witnesses and trying to figure out exactly what happened.
