JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A 20-year-old man was sentenced Thursday afternoon to 30 years in prison followed by 10 years of sex offender probation for an attack on a 16-year-old girl.

LeCorey Stinson has been designated a sexual predator. He was sentenced to 30 years on one count of sexual battery. He also received 30 years on a second count of sexual battery. The sentences run concurrently.

Stinson was convicted last month in the April 2011 rape of the teenage girl. Stinson was a casual acquaintance of the victim.

While the two were hanging out, Stinson asked the victim for a hug. While hugging, Stinson wanted to kiss her, but the victim resisted his advances. In return, Stinson became enraged and forced her to have sex.
