A man who punched an officer in the face after being pulled over for driving erratically was convicted this week.
David Sund was found guilty of DUI, battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting with violence.
In January, police spotted Sund driving erratically on Atlantic Boulevard. When police were able to pull him over, he an officer by punching her in the face.
Sund was then arrested and detained inside a police vehicle, and while in the police car, he tried to kick out the back window.
The 46-year-old faces up to six years in prison. He will be sentenced the week of Nov. 26.
