ORANGE PARK, Fla. -

Deputies in Clay County are looking for a man they said stole an iPad from an Orange Park business last month.

Deputies said the theft happened about 1 p.m. June 12 when the man entered Planet Cellular Inc. at 661 Blanding Blvd. asking about three different cellphones.

Deputies said while asking about the phones, the man took the demo iPad off the display shelf and tucked it under his arm and left the store without paying for it.

The thief is described as a black man, about 6 feet tall and between 200 and 220 pounds. He was wearing a black shirt and white shorts.

The theft was reported six days later when employees noticed the iPad was missing, deputies said. They then reviewed surveillance video to see who took it.

Anyone with information that may lead detectives to the thief is asked to call the Clay County Sheriff's Office at 904-264-6512.
