Maxville Woman Accused In Store Robbery
Published On: Oct 14 2011 02:09:11 PM EDT Updated On: Jul 30 2010 01:33:12 PM EDTClay County deputies have arrested a 42-year-old woman on suspicion that she robbed a CVS store on Thursday evening.
According to the arrest report, Cheryl Closson walked into the drug store on Blanding Boulevard about 8:15 p.m., pushed the clerk at the photo counter out of the way and grabbed about $150 out of the cash register drawer.
The report said Closson never displayed a gun, but kept her hand in her pocket implying that she had a weapon.
Later that night, deputies got information about Closson's location and took her into custody. She was charged with robbery and booked into the Clay County Jail.
