Many commuters wish they could leave their cars behind and save money by using public transportation.

But a new study finds only one Florida city made the list of best public transit systems.

Miami made the list, compiled by Walk Score, a website that scores cities for walkability.

Cities were ranked based on several factors, including how walkable they are and how eco-friendly their other modes of transportation are.

The American Public Transportation Association estimates drivers save as much as $10,000 every year by using public transit.
