Missing 90-year-old man from St. Augustine found safe

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -

Just a few hours after issuing a statewide Silver Alert, the St. Augustine Police Department said it found Antonio Martin Deazevedo, a 90-year-old man suffering from dementia who was last seen Thursday morning in St. Augustine.

He was safe and being returned home, police said about 4:30 p.m.

Deazevedo was last seen about 10 a.m. in a beige 2008 Kia sport utility vehicle.

He was said to be wearing a white hat, tan jacket and light green pants, and had a "scruffy" beard.
