Missing Kingsland woman could be in South Florida

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. -

Broward Sheriff's Office deputies believe a 24-year-old woman missing from Georgia may be in South Florida.

Ivy Dawn Merck was last seen in Kingsland, Ga., on Aug. 23.

Deputies found her Honda CRV in the parking lot of a Marshalls store in Deerfield Beach about 10 p.m. Wednesday.

Merck, a native of Camden County, Ga., but recently of Athens, Ga., is described as being 5 feet 1 inch tall and about 115 pounds, with brown eyes and dark blonde to brown hair.

Anyone with information on Merck's whereabouts should call the Camden County Sheriff's Office at 912-729-1442 or the Broward Sheriff's Office at 954-321-4268.
