JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A mother accused of trading her then-6-year-old daughter for sex with four men in exchange for drugs and money pleaded guilty Wednesday morning.

Dalina Nicholas, 36, pleaded guilty to four counts of child neglect. She was arrested last March.

Police were tipped off to the abuse by a homeless man who flagged down a Jacksonville Beach police officer and reported what was happening to the child, prosecutors said.

The man told police he "witnessed Nicholas tell the victim to take off her clothes and lay on a mattress in the living room, saw the suspect give Nicholas $20, and then perform oral sex on the victim," according to police reports.

Nicholas is one of five people arrested in the case. Quinn Brooks and Ryan Harrover have been charged with sexual battery and lewd or lascivious molestation. John Hagans and Norman Thompson have been charged with sexual battery. All four co-defendants have pending trial dates.

Nicholas faces 15-30 years in prison. She will be listed as a witness in her co-defendants' cases and will be sentenced at the conclusion of all related cases, prosecutors said.
