A 34-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash Monday night on Interstate 295 northbound at Old St. Augustine Road in Mandarin, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
State troopers said Robert Flynn was traveling at a high speed in the center lane of I-295 about 11:20 p.m. when he lost control and was thrown from the motorcycle.
Troopers said Flynn was struck by a car in the left lane, and that driver, 21-year-old Kevin Hsu, then lost control. Hsu's car sideswiped another car, which then hit a guardrail.
Flynn died at the scene.
Hsu and the driver of the other car, 19-year-old Terri Hughes, were unhurt.
Troopers said charges are pending further investigation, including blood alcohol content results for Flynn.
