Sunday?s concert at the Sculpture Garden Park will be dedicated to those affected by Sept.11. Scheduled to perform are JAIDD, Marianne Lerbs, Thomas Glover W. and Mike Hart. The concert begins at 2 p.m. Organizers encourage attendees to to bring a picnic chair or blanket. The park is located on A1A South in St. Augustine Beach.

Florida National Guard Sept.11 Ceremony

The Florida National Guard will hold a ceremony to mark the tenth anniversary on Sunday. It will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Camp Blanding in Starke. The event will feature guest speakers including Adjutant General of Florida Major General Emmett Titshaw, military and civilian dignitaries and Patriot Guard Riders. The ceremony is scheduled to last one hour.

Gate Salutes Armed Forces and Public Safety Workers

In honor of those who serve the nation in the military or public safety, Gate will offer a free 16-ounce Best Bean coffee or 22 ounce Fountain Central beverage on Sunday. The offer will be available at all Gate locations. Patrons must show ID or wear their service uniforms to receive a coupon for the offer from a store employee.

National Patriot Golf Day

Golfers in Palm Coast will remember Sept.11 on the course. Golfers can share in National Patriot Golf Day by donating $1 or more to help provide educational scholarships for children and spouses of our military personnel who were killed or disabled on Sept. 11.

Free Car Wash

Duckys Car Wash will be giving a free wash to all military, law enforcement, firefighters and first responders in honor of the tenth anniversary of September 11th. The free car wash promotion will be at the locations on the 103rd Street, Jammes Road, Park Avenue and Merrill Road.

Musical Tribute And Candlelight Vigil

Join the Julington Creek community for a musical tribute and candlelight vigil on Sunday. It will be held on the pond at Plantation Park beginning at 7 p.m. The Creekside High School Chorus and Wind ensemble will perform. Representatives from the St. Johns County Fire Rescue Department and St. Johns County Sheriff's office will also be part of the tribute. JCP Cares will be collecting personal hygiene and mini hotel toiletries to donate to the Betty Griffin House. The Betty Griffin House is an emergency shelter for abused women and their children. Organizers encourage attendees to bring a lawn chair.
