An autopsy found that the man whose naked body washed up on Flagler Beach on Friday was shot to death.
Flagler Beach Police Chief Dan Cody said Tuesday the man's body was discovered by beachgoers on Friday.
The Orlando Sentinel reported that police don't know who the victim was or where he came from. Police believe he was in the water for three to five days.
Cody says the body could have been dumped from a boat out at sea.
The man weighed about 150 pounds, was 6-foot-2 and was between 50 and 60 years old. He had salt and pepper hair and brown eyes. Cody says there were no tattoos or other identifying marks.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Flagler Beach Police Department at 386-517-2023.
