JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Jaguars guard Uche Nwaneri talked with Sam Kouvaris on the End Zone Monday night about the team's 24-21 win over Kansas City.

The Jaguars (4-4) rebounded from a disappointing loss to Tennessee with their win over the Chiefs, moving them to a .500 average halfway through the regular season.

Nwaneri said the team wanted to reestablish its physical play on both sides of the ball and impose its will.

"We just wanted to come out and have a strong showing and get back to .500," Nwaneri said. "(Coach) Jack (Del Rio) always tells us it's about us. We always felt like it was about us because at the end of the day, it comes down to whether we win or lose."

The win puts the Jaguars in the top half of the NFL. It also moves the team to 3-1 at home on the year.

"We want to get as many wins as possible," Nwaneri said. "It doesn't matter to us about what the other team is talking about or what they're doing."

The Jaguars will head to New York on Sunday to take on the Jets (4-4).
