Deputies in Clay County still looking for a man who robbed a Compass Bank on Blanding Boulevard in Orange Park on Aug. 1 have released more details in trying to identify him.
Investigators said the man was seen leaving the scene on foot toward a nearby neighborhood where a late model (2004-09) silver Toyota 4Runner was recorded leaving immediately after the robbery.
Deputies said the stolen money was damaged by the red ink of the exploded dye pack that was given to the man during the robbery.
The robber is described as a white man with a thin build, a black, curly wig, wearing a blue bandana, a black ball cap, a black shirt with an insignia on the front, and black shoes. He had dark hair on his forearms and his hands were covered by food service-type plastic gloves.
The man was seen carrying a revolver with a white grip.
Anyone with any information about the robber's identity or whereabouts is asked to call the Clay County Sheriff's Office at 904-264-6512.
