Thousands of local veterans are suiting up thanks to the Wounded Warrior Project, a nonprofit organization based in Jacksonville that helps vets transition back to life at home.
On Friday, the group, along with the help of Dignity U Wear, distributed the first of 3,000 suits to veterans. It's part of a program called Suits for Soldiers.
Along with the suits, veterans also received dress shirts, shoes, belts, ties and more.
With a professional wardrobe, Wounded Warrior says it will assist these vets in finding a successful job in the civilian world.
