It has become a very popular alternative to lighting up... The Centers for Disease control and prevention says almost two million middle and high school students across the country - tried e-cigarettes last year. 27 states currently ban the sale of electronic cigarettes to minors - and now Florida may become the 28th. Channel 4's Scott Johnson is live on the Southside tonight with details - scott 3 right now you can go to a gas station or smoke shop that might sell these and buy them if you're under 18. but the state legislature is pushing to change that. 27-32the ban could happen soon for kids who want to get their hands on these electronic cigarettes.If you're not familiar with them some people consider them much safer than regular cigarettes and they're often used by smokers looking to kick their habit...DR.
