The Putnam County Sheriff's Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement are investigating the suspicious death of a 33-year-old man.
Investigators said Eddie James Brown Jr.'s body was found at 403 E. Lake Street in Palatka about 6 a.m. Sunday.
Brown's death is being called a homicide. A 19-year-old woman was also transported from the scene with non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputies are still investigating this homicide and ask anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 888-277-TIPS (8477).
