The Florida Highway Patrol says a 20-year-old man was killed when his motorcycle left Pacific Drive on a curve and crashed about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Troopers say Codie Ray Barlow lost control of his Honda CBR, the motorcycle hit a mailbox and overturned, ejecting Barlow.
The accident was not discovered until a homeowner investigated the damaged mailbox about 7:30 a.m. and found the motorcycle and its rider.
According to the FHP report, Barlow was likely speeding and was not wearing a helmet.
